Pine Lake Park is located in the heart of Sammamish, Washington. This 19-acre wooded wonderland, is located on the shores of Pine Lake. Beautiful views across a wooded park offers recreation galore.
Designated as one of Sammamish’s more beloved parks, you’ll find something for everyone. Originally a private resort, you’ll soon see why. Opened in the 1910s, the resort ran or about 50 years, until King County purchased the property for a public park. And there, in the 1960s, the idea for Pine Lake Park was spawned.
Although the park is now run by the City of Sammamish, the love of the park hasn’t changed.
Recreational activities include:
- Barbeque Grills
- Picnic Shelters
- Play Structures
- Restroom Facility
- Basketball Courts
- Sports Fields for Baseball, Lacrosse, Soccer, and Softball
- Boat Launch, for Canoes and Kayaks
- A View Dock
- Fishing, the last weekend of April through October (License Required)
Plenty of parking, combine with activities for all. If you’re searching for a place to bring your toddler, or your active teenager, this park has it all. Maybe some sun bathing, permitted/licensed fishing, or a day canoeing – they’ve got you covered there, too!
