With Easter Sunday this coming weekend, you will find many Easter parades and local egg hunts for the whole family all over the Greater Seattle area. One you may not want to miss is the 17th Annual Bunny Bounce at the Woodland Park Zoo on Saturday, March 31st. This event will feature egg hunts for children ages 1-8, crafts, and “eggs-citing” zoo programs throughout the afternoon. You will find the zoo animals enjoying Easter treats also! From penguins to grizzlies, the animals will be given Easter baskets lined with flowers, berries, and other favorite treats. The treats given are part of Woodland Park Zoo’s animal care program to better the lives of the animals. In addition, the activities are focused to encourage natural animal behavior and to engage the zoo guests.

It is suggested you come earlier than later to this event as each egg hunt is open on a first-come, first-served basis. All activities are free with regular zoo admission. Zoo admission ranges from $9.95-$14.95. Members and children under the age of 2 are free. It is also important to note that this event is BYOB (Bring your own basket!).
