Bright Horizons at Bellevue Spring District is excited to host their second cooking workshop. From 10:00am to 12:00pm, Chef Boni, the center’s chef, and a team of educators will be leading families in creating a healthy fall-themed appetizer and dessert. The cooking workshop is geared toward children between the ages of 2 and 6. It is always the right time to introduce young children into the kitchen! Cooking workshops offer opportunities for learning new skills and trying new foods.
Bright Horizons was founded in 1986 and operates more than 750 child care centers worldwide. They are a leading provider of early education and preschools, employer-sponsored child care, back-up day care, and educational advisory services. From infant care to after-school programs, their mission is to support families and help develop each child’s unique qualities and potential.
Though the event is free, families are encouraged to bring a minimum of one canned food item to donate to the food drive. The contributed food will benefit the Northwest Harvest Food Bank. Canned food items may include tuna, soup, beans, vegetables, and fruit. To RSVP today, please email your name and number of children attending to firstname.lastname@example.org.
