The Jefferson Park Community Center
Located in the heart of Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood, the Jefferson Park Community Center is just minutes from downtown Seattle and ideally located. Though it was originally built in the 1930s, recent renovations have made this a central community space.
The Community Center also offers childcare, preschools, and teen programs, play indoor toddler playtime, after school programs, special populations programs, drop-in programs, tutoring, meetings rooms, late night programs, and lifelong recreation.
Additionally, Jefferson is the only center to have a Mock Trial team, which has been successful in competition by reaching the state competition levels.
Jefferson Park Lawn Bowling Club
Since 1942, the South District Law Bowling Club has bowled at Jefferson Park. By 1970, a new club house broke ground in conjunction with the Park Department, and their mission ever since as been to “participate in, promote, and safeguard the healthy, active sport of lawn lowling.”

The Jefferson Park Golf Course
Maintained by the City of Seattle and managed by Premier Golf Centers LLC, the Jefferson Park Golf Course offers great facilities. Originally built in 1915, the course was designed by on of America’s pioneer golf architects, Scotsman Thomas Bendelow.
Featuring vistas of the Duwamish River and Olympic Mountains, the course measures over 6,200 yards, and includes a nine-hole Executive golf course, a restaurant with banquet facilities, a driving range. They also offer lessons, camps, and programs.
Hot tip: the golf course is located east of Beacon Avenue South, while the Driving Range and some other facilities are located on west of Beacon Avenue South.
