Mercer Island Farmer’s Market

It’s that time of the year again! The Mercer Island Farmer’s Market is now happening every Sunday until the end of September. At this Farmer’s Market, you can expect to find fresh farm produce, prepared foods, and hand-crafted items. Located on the north end of Mercerdale Park, the Farmer’s Market will take place every Sunday from 10am-3pm.

Each market day, there will be a Children’s Table organized by a local preschool teacher, Judy Witmer. Judy develops hands-on activities to help educate children in relation to food and farming. The King County Master Gardeners Program will also have a booth each market day. This booth will educate the community about plants and gardening best-practices. Lastly, the market will feature a tasting table where guests can learn about the market produce and products. Ready-to-eat foods will be offered with the vendor’s simple recipes for preparing healthy meals at home. Along with fun finds, you can enjoy live music at the market including jazz, bluegrass, marimba and more. There will be new music at the market every week from 11am-2pm.

The Mercer Island Farmer’s Market is a fun-filled day for the whole family! Come support the local vendors and connect with the local community.
