5th Annual HAWKtoberfest Car Show

What better way to kick off football season than with a unique show including Seahawks themed vehicles celebrating our city’s beloved football team! Vehicles that are painted, wrapped or display any Seahawks graphics can enter to win a trophy. Trophies will also be awarded to non-Seahawks themed vehicles. In past years, this family friendly event has attracted car owners from across the region to show off their decked out cars. The event will include music, kid’s activity corner, trophy awards, vendor booths and more. You are even invited to show your spirit by entering the Seahawks themed costume contest!

Trophies will be awarded in the following categories for Seahawks Themed: Best Themed, Most Creative, Best Non-Street, Wildest, and Sponsor’s Choice. For non-themed vehicles, trophies will be awarded for Best of Show, Favorite Original, Favorite Foreign, Favorite Pre 1950’s, and Most Unique. Categories for the costume contest will include Best Adult, Best Kids Costume, Best Group (3 or more), and Best Couple. Contestants must be on-site between 1:00-1:30pm.

This event is free and open to the public. The car show will take place from 11:00am-3:00pm on Saturday, September 28th in downtown Kent. Car registration will begin at 9:30am or you can register online. The proceeds from the event will support Kent Downtown Partnership in its work to sustain small businesses and revitalize historic downtown.
