In a February 20th City Council meeting, City of Mercer Island Mayor Debbie Bertlin offered Proclamation No. 215, which stated that, to raise awareness and urge all citizens to support and encourage the resurgence of local forestry efforts; and emphasizing urban forests not only for the beauty they offer, but the benefits they provide to our residents, communities, and region.
Known as a destination event for the Pacific Northwest, the Skagit Valley Festival will be held until April 30th.
